Alzheimer's Association's Memory Walk 2008

Who? - Hopefully you will be one of the ones to
walk with us this year!
What? - The Memory Walk is the nation's largest
event to raise awareness for Alzheimer's care,
research, and support. A typical Memory Walk is
2-3 miles and is on a weekend morning in the
Fall.
Where? - There are Memory Walks in more
than 600 communities in the country. The walk in
which the Official Elephant Project Team will be
walking in will be in Pearl River, NY in Rockland
County. Check the Alzheimer's Association
website to find out where your walk is this year!
When? - The walk in Pearl River, NY will be on
Sunday, October 12th, 2008. Registration begins
at 9:30a.m. and the walk begins at 11:00a.m.
Each walk is on a different day of the year and at
a different time, so please check the Alzheimer's
Association website for more information.
Alzheimer's disease. Every 72 seconds, another
person is diagnosed with this disease. Help make
a difference. This fall, "we're on the move," to
stop Alzheimer's for good.
