| My Story |
My name is David Niederhoffer and I am 18 years old. I
started the Elephant Project after I raised money for
two years to benefit Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights
AIDS by selling the autographs I obtained from
celebrities (which included signed pictures, Broadway
playbills, scripts, etc.).
On May 29, 2006, my grandfather died after battling
Alzheimer's disease for the past few years. My family
asked for all people who wished to donate money in his
name to donate to the Alzheimer's Association. I
decided that I would continue to raise money once
again, but to donate all proceeds to the Alzheimer's
Association.
