| My Story |
My name is David Niederhoffer and I am 19 years old. Currently, I
am a student at the NYU Stern School of Business specializing in
Entertainment, Media and Technology with a minor in Producing!
In the future, I hope to be a successful film producer and use my
business skills to launch my own production company.
I started the Elephant Project after I raised money for two years to
benefit Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS by selling the
autographs I obtained from celebrities (which included signed
pictures, Broadway playbills, scripts, etc.).
On May 29, 2006, my grandfather died after battling Alzheimer's
disease for the past few years. My family asked for all people who
wished to donate money in his name to donate to the Alzheimer's
Association. I decided that I would continue to raise money once
again, but to donate all proceeds to the Alzheimer's Association.
